Rossinavi’s new 48m Argo explorer project

Written by Charl van Rooy

Rossinavi joined forces with designer Ken Freivokh to create a new generation explorer yacht named Argo. The 48-metre world cruiser is designed to reach the remotest of corners of the seas in extreme comfort and safety.

With an explorer-style yacht currently under construction at Rossinavi, the shipyard has combined their experiences together with the vision of Freivokh and technical expertise of Scandinavian Marine to arrive at a solution that would tick all the boxes on a serious world voyage list. Expansive exterior deck spaces, excellent visibility from the bridge deck and all guest areas inside, full navigation autonomy, storage capabilities as well as seaworthiness are all present and correct.

Unique at this size, ARGO offers a private elevated owner's deck, including a full beam cabin, a private terrace, a study and a further family or nanny cabin, VIP stateroom or indeed captain cabin.

A heavy-duty crane can serve the yacht’s fleet of up to four tenders or nearly any type of landing craft or submersible on her generous aft deck.

Argo is designed with a range of 5,000 nm and can do so in complete silence with a ‘zero noise’ engineered platform specifically designed for vessels that need to operate in areas off the beaten track.
