Not long after announcing the sale of the 49-metre motor yacht FR038 ahead of the Monaco Yacht Show comes yet another new build for Italian shipyard Rossinavi. The builder today confirmed that is has signed a 52-metre superyacht code-named FR039, or Florentia.
The 700 Gross Tonne vessel is the design work of Giorgio and Stefano Vafiadis with Carlo Colombo and the A++ Design Studio from Lugano who are behind the interior aspects of the design. The brief of the project was to create a high-volume motor yacht with elegant and subtle exterior features. The interior too would be soft and natural, with flowing lines that connect spaces together.
“Florentia is positioned in a market niche for people who appreciate yacht with balanced lines and a great attitude to traditional boating,” comments Federico Rossi of Rossinavi.
Destined for delivery in 2020, Florentia will be able to travel with her 12 crew members at a cruising speed of 13.5 knots.
