Rossinavi has unveiled its latest superyacht concept, the 52-metre Portofino 52. The design is a result of a collaboration between the Italian shipyard and Team 4 Design, who sought to provide the utmost comfort on board. The concept has been optimised at 52-metres and 499 GT, just under the 500 GT threshold. “The desire to offer the highest possible number of square metres, combined with a careful study of volumes, has made possible the obtaining of incredibly large living spaces and entertainment areas to meet different needs. A superyacht without compromises, with an interior and exterior layout that allows you to make the most of all areas,” says Federico Rossi, Chief Operating Officer of Rossinavi. One of the superyacht’s standout and most versatile features is her 130 square-metre sundeck which provides plenty of space of alfresco dining, sunbathing, or can be converted as an entertainment space. A generous beach club is offered at the yacht’s transom where guests can go for a swim or make use of the Portofino 52’s wellness area and sauna.Guests are accommodated across five staterooms, including a full-beam 50 square-metre owner’s suite. The suite can be configured in two different layouts, the first with a spacious dressing room and the second with a private office. Full-height windows are used throughout to create plenty of natural light. An open-air cinema with six seats and a fire pit are found on her upper deck aft along with a sheltered seating area forward. The Portofino 52’s main deck is home to a glass-bottomed swimming pool and another lounge space. The yacht’s skylounge has plenty of glazing and a bar and a wine and cigar cellar. Her designers sought to create a seamless transition between her interior and exterior spaces. Her main saloon has plenty of seating and has an adjacent formal dining area.Tender and toy storage has been positioned on her foredeck to make the most of the yacht’s aft area where her beach club and pool area are.Performance-wise, the Portofino 52 sports twin Caterpillar C32 engines which propel her to a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. She has a range of 4,000 nautical miles while cruising at 10 knots.
