Rossinavi unveils superyacht concept Poseidon

Following the release of the Palladium concept last week, Rossinavi have now released another superyacht concept design, also by the hand of Enrico Gobbi and his Team 4 Design. Poseidon is a luxury 44 metre, aluminium, four-deck superyacht, inspired by expedition vessels.

Gobbi's intent was to design a robust, ultra-safe and powerful, comfortable round the world cruising yacht. lts style is described by Enrico Gobbi as "military and luxury" with aesthetic details that come from automotive design. The semi displacement vessel is designed to offer a 10,000-mile range.

Federico Rossi, Rossinavi’s COO commented: “Poseidon is designed as a “go-anywhere exploration yacht” and the construction in Ice Class 1B permits this yacht to navigate in areas where it’s likely to encounter floating ice. The main impact of this ice class is the reinforced “ice belt” around the hull able to resist impact loads even greater than 55 tonnes per square metre. The entire yacht project contain all aspects of this specific regulation under the technical point of view, emphasizing the right relevance to specific needs in navigation systems, comforts and living spaces”.

Naval architecture and engineering have been developed by Arrabito Naval Architects, who have come up with efficient hull lines able to run in low consumption long range, but also to reach higher top speeds than the usual full displacement explorer vessel.

With the standard engines option (C32 Acert Caterpillar 2x 1300 bhp) this vessel will reach a top speed of about 17 knots, while with the optional propulsive solution of MTU 16v2000M94 (2x1936 kw) the top speed will be of about 20 knots

The yacht’s interiors are designed to be bright, spacious and luxurious, with an ongoing contact with the sea and the sky. The yacht’s stern features an enclosed pool, complete with diamond-cut bottom edge just above the yacht name showing through the water.
