A concept for a family-friendly blue water cruiser has been released with Design Unlimited handling the interiors and an exterior and naval architecture design from Reichel/Pugh Yacht Design. Capable of a circumnavigation, the 42-metre sailing yacht, RP42, has been designed with relaxed living spaces and long-range cruising capabilities in mind. The large split-level aft deck comes complete with sun pads positioned aft of the dual helm and a swim platform with a fold-down transom door.Photo: Design UnlimitedPhoto: Design UnlimitedGuests can also enjoy dining either alfresco in the cockpit, which is sheltered by a fixed bimini and sliding sunroof, or inside in the main saloon. The interior layout offers four staterooms; including an owner's suite that can be accessed at the stern and three convertible cabins. Having devised two variations for the interior styling, Design Unlimited offers both a light and neutral or a contrasting monochromatic design.
