International Yacht Collection has announced the sale of 39.62 metre superyacht, Tranquility. The vessel was listed for sale by Northrop and Johnson and Bradford Marine, at $4,390,000 (USD).
Tranquility is an exceptionally spacious tri-deck motoryacht launched in 1995 by Hatteras Yachts. She saw a major refit in 2006/2007 to service and upgrade the vessel’s mechanical systems, with another overall aesthetic, electronics and exterior refurbishment in 2011.
The award-winning design team of Claudette Bonville & Associates designed a brand new, earth-toned interior including new interior wall coverings and soft-goods, re-veneering the warm cherry wood finishes, and adding all new carpeting, drapes, and bedspreads. The skylounge was completely remodeled with a new wet bar and lounge area featuring clever placement of a custom-fabricated privacy door and pull-out sofa-bed for use as an extra guest accommodation.
Additional 2006/2007 upgrades included modernizing the galley, adding teak decking to the exterior sitting area, aft deck and swim platform, notably elevating the elegance of the yacht’s visual appeal and the functionality of these areas.
