Three aspects of the project were essential to the owner while conceptualising the yacht, according to Mario Pedrol, president of Nauta Design: “functionality for safe and comfortable navigation, performance to enjoy racing in the most famous superyacht regattas and sexy, appealing design to give the yacht a modern, aggressive and sporty look.”

She features naval architecture by Reichel / Pugh Yacht Design and both an interior and exterior design by Nauta Yachts. More than 3,000 hours were spent on her design process alone.Morgana yacht on sea trialsPhoto: Rob KamhootMorgana yacht saloonPhoto: Southern Wind ShipyardMorgana yacht on sea trialsPhoto: Rob KamhootHer exterior appears to be minimalist as it features a flush, uncluttered deck but Morgana hosts a tender garage, spacious foredeck locker, hidden mooring arrangement, and an underwater anchor system.Morgana yacht deckPhoto: Southern Wind ShipyardMorgana yacht stern with swim platformPhoto: Southern Wind ShipyardConstructed with various types of carbon and equipped with a lifting keel, Morgana is lightweight and optimised for racing performance and cruising comfort. The vision for Morgana was tediously conceived by her owner who wanted to combine a refined design aesthetic with “a fast bluewater cruiser that could also compete in superyacht regattas” according to Massimo Gino, co-founder and partner at Nauta.Morgana yacht on sea trialsPhoto: Rob KamhootInside, Morgana can accommodate her guests across three staterooms including a spacious owner’s suite.Morgana yacht stateroomPhoto: Rob Kamhoot
