First Wally 101 sold
The Ferretti Group have announced the sale of the custom Wally 101 to a repeat Wally client who intends to use her both as a racing yacht, and a cruising vessel. The sailing yacht is the first hull to be sold since the brand became part of the Ferretti Group in 2019, she is the 48th semi-custom Wally to be sold. According to her architects, the German studio Judel / Vrolijk, Wally 101 sports a โnew-generation hull shapeโ and an interior and exterior design by Wally. Her exterior is characterised by a sleek profile, a low-slung deckhouse, a funnel-shaped glass roof and teak decking.
In addition to her unique hull shape, Wally 101 has a sail area of 630 square-metres and will employ the Wally Magic Keelยฉ, all of which will contribute to the yacht's performance capability. The sailing yacht is constructed entirely from carbon fibre, incorporating an advanced sandwich composite with pre-preg carbon fibre. She will also feature the Wally Enhanced Hydraulic System consisting of double low-and high-pressure pump technology to further speed up sail handling.
The Wally 101 features an ownerโs suite with ensuite bathroom and television room, as well as additional guest accommodation for six between two ensuite cabins. There will be dining space to accommodate 10-12 guests.
