Available as console or desktop versions and combining navigation and collision avoidance operations via a single workstation, the system provides correlated views of planned and real situations for improved effectiveness and safety of all navigational tasks. Systems typically also form an integral part of SAM Electronics’ established series of NACOS integrated navigation command systems featuring radar-controlled track-keeping, variants of which are already operational aboard superyachts such as Amevi and Alfa Nero built by oceAnco in Holland, and Samar, a five-deck 76m assembly completed by Devonport Yachts in the UK.
