Sam Sorgiovanni releases 99m expedition yacht concept: Frontier

Sorgiovanni Designs has presented a new 99-metre luxury expedition yacht concept, Frontier. Built to "meet other countries and discover new and unknown civilisations", Frontier comes with a certified ice-breaker reversed bow with straight white decks and a curved exterior line that links the owners’ deck, main deck and hull.  Sergiovanni Designs 99m Project FrontierPhoto: Sergiovanni DesignsNotable features onboard Frontier is her outdoor bar and Jacuzzi on the observation deck and retractable helicopter landing platform which can double as a dancefloor, additional gym or extend the nearby pool and sunbathing area. On the main deck is a spectacular cinema and a dining room for up to 20 guests located adjacent to a games room. 

Designer Sorgiovanni has also shaped a double-storey beach club with bar, relaxation area, folding platform, massage room, sauna, steam room and a second Jacuzzi. From here, guests can access the garage and its two 25-metre tenders, two 15-metre hovercrafts and four Jet skis. Sergiovanni Designs 99m Project FrontierPhoto: Sergiovanni DesignsUp to 12 guests can be accommodated for in six double staterooms with en-suites on the lower deck, whereas her owners can enjoy the upper-deck master suite with his-and-hers facilities, a private lounge/office and saloon and direct access to the pool. For the decor, Sorgiovanni Designs has been influenced by the studio’s homeland of Australia and have devised a palette of natural and sustainable materials such as eggshells, seeds, fast-growing woods and stones.Sergiovanni Designs 99m Project FrontierPhoto: Sergiovanni DesignsTaken care of by 34 crew, Frontier is designed to accommodate twin diesel engines, enabling her to achieve top speeds of up to 20 knots. She also boasts a globetrotting range when trimmed back to her cruising speed of 15/16 knots along with innovative systems for reducing her footprint.
