According to the promoters, the consortium aims to preserve employment, restart industrial operations, support the local supply chain and maintain shipbuilding activities in the Carrara region.Under the proposed ownership structure, 10% of PNC is expected to be held by a company to be incorporated by Riccardo Cima and certain suppliers. The authority is expected to consider the request as part of its board meeting.According to Spanish newspaper Faro de Vigo, the likely buyer is Oyster Ocean LLC, a Delaware-registered company established in January 2026 and reportedly part of a larger US industrial conglomerate. British yacht builder <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/354" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sunseeker (Company)">Sunseeker International</a> has announced that Cross Ocean Partners and Cheyne Capital have completed the process of becoming its long-term owners and shareholders.The shipyard has also appointed Scott Millar as its new chief executive officer and announced several additions to its executive team.
