Sanlorenzo has delivered a 40 Alloy model, a 40-meter aluminium superyacht with a planning hull, to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, as well as the ruler of Dubai.
The yacht was shipped from Italy to the Middle East, using a special cargo transport from the Mediterranean till the Suez Canal, where the yacht entered the Red Sea and finally arrived in Dubai after about 15 days.
This particular 40 Alloy was designed with a modern and elegant interior, featuring a combination of contrasting woods, such as olive ash for the furniture and the burned oak for the floors. For the bathrooms the owner chose Fossena stone and limestone Malayat.
On the lower deck, 2 double and 2 triple cabins can accommodate up to 10 guests, while the crew is composed by 6 members and a captain.
Two MTU 2775 HP engines deliver a maximum speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of approximately 25 knots.
