Sarp Yachts has just announced the successful launch of the first 26-metre Sarp XSR 85. The yacht features an exterior design from Red Yacht Design, who are also the minds behind her interior styling. She features a vibrant Porsche Guards Red colouring on her hull, making her highly distinctive. 
She features a carbon fiber super structure and composite Fast Displacement Hull Form by Van Oossanen Naval Architects who is responsible for the naval architecture of the vessel. Mavi Marine acted as project manager for design & engineering development and construction. 
The FDHF from Van Oossanen Naval Architects allows the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 21 knots yet at a cruising speed of 12 knots she has an extended range of 1,000 nautical miles with twin MAN 800 engines. Up to 9 guests are accommodated on board and she also has accommodation for 4 crew members including the captain of Sarp XSR 85/01. The yacht carries 7,850 litres of fuel on board, and 2,250 liters of water.

The beauty of the XSR design is that her exterior deck spaces flow freely to the interior with the key element being the glass arrangement that surrounds the entire salon. The XSR series is a new concept of yacht and all the parties involved in to this great project, are proud of the high level of engineering found throughout the vessel. This is the first of 2 XSR 85 models under construction with the second being #NB202 that features a diesel electric hybrid propulsion system which is scheduled to be completed in the next 6-8 months.”
The yacht, which is currently on the market, will be available for delivery by the end of August in Antalya, Turkey.
