The first superyacht to be built by Fincantieri was delivered a few days ago at Muggiano (La Spezia) shipyard and tomorrow will leave the yard. At 134 metres long, superyacht Serene, is one of the ten largest yachts ever built in the world and one of the finest in terms of sophistication and technology. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/136210/image/large-dd92f49587a3a0dd993afbd3f46c680e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/136210">Designed in accordance with the maximum class of international safety regulations for passenger transport Serene has seven decks, a hangar and two helicopter landing pads. The vessel also features a large sea-water swimming pool which can accommodate service craft and a submarine with a diving depth of up to 100 metres. There are 4,500 square metres of interior space including 2,700 square metres of super-luxury designed by Pascale Reymond from Reymond Langton Design, one of the most famous designers in the industry. The Fincantieri Yachts team developed the project from the ground-breaking concept design of Espen Oeino, who has created some of the world’s most famous yachts. Serene marks Fincantieri’s entrance into an exclusive market sector, made possible thanks to the expertise the company has gained in the construction of sophisticated, highly innovative vessels combining cutting edge design and state of the art technology. The yacht will also feature a lifting keel configuration, which allows for good performance when sailing offshore and makes it easier to access shallower bays and anchorages.Autonomy was a key pillar of the design process.
