The 18th edition of Sea Technology & Design (Seatec) - an international trade fair held annually for the exhibition of technology, subcontracting and design for yachts - will take place between 5-7 February. 
Introducing the first-ever Rossinavi Design Challenge as well as a host of workshops, academic activities, B2B meeting opportunities, showrooms and award shows, Seatec 2020 marks a new opportunity for shipyards to develop their connections with the sales and technical staff of attending companies. On this occasion, the event will be taking place in Marina di Carrara, the centre of the largest superyacht production district in Italy. 
Organised by IMM CarraraFiere in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, Seatec remains the only event dedicated to this sector in Italy and southern Europe. Those attending will originate from the trade and logistics sector; boat and crew comfort sector; naval architects and designers; the Italian superyacht refit sector; and companies dedicated to innovation for a more eco-friendly yachting world.

Following the success of Seatec 2019, SuperYacht Times’ intelligence team will once again be hosting a series of seminars on different panels, with this year aiming to diversify the companies involved with Seatec by focusing on the new-build market. Starting with a brief introduction on the current state of the superyacht market, key topics include the refit market, investments into shipyards and the new-build market.
