Sanlorenzo Asia confirmed today that it has sold a second 44.5-metre superyacht from the 44Alloy range to a client in Asia. With the first hull having been signed in late 2018 and expected to launch this autumn, this 44Alloy yacht is the second hull sold in Asia and the latest model expected to premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2020 in September. Her naval architecture was completed in-house by the Sanlorenzo team. With five units of the 44Alloy sold to date, this hull will be delivered at Sanlorenzo’s La Spezia yard before heading to what will be her home-base in Asia. Sanlorenzo 44 AlloyBuilt entirely out of aluminium and powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines, the 44Alloy yacht will be able to reach a maximum speed of 22 knots. The new 44Alloy hull is one amongst 19 other superyachts currently under construction at Sanlorenzo’s 50,000 square-metre superyacht division in La Spezia.Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy 133 yacht renderingPhoto: SanlorenzoSanlorenzo Asia’s sales manager Nick Stratton commented: “We are extremely proud of this sale given the current climate. The client is an experienced yacht owner who sought a state-of-the-art design and a yacht that made the most of the spaces on board. The 44Alloy certainly does this with its unique use of spaces both internally and externally. We are also delighted to welcome not one but two of the 44Alloy yachts in Asia in addition to several other Sanlorenzo superyachts already cruising in the region.”Sanlorenzo 44 Alloy
