Held on Friday the 8th May ahead of the 10th edition of the World Superyacht Awards in Amsterdam, SuperYacht Company are pleased to announce that the second Superyacht Festival was another great success. Hosted by the the four young companies residing in the Superyacht Clubhouse - SuperYacht Company, YachtEye, Fair Promotion and Oculus Technologies - around 250 guests attended the event that lead well into the night.
SuperYacht Times’ Merijn de Waard comments on the event, stating, “Following the success of the first edition of the Superyacht Festival that we hosted last year, we wanted this year’s event to be even bigger and better. Around 100 additional guests attended the Festival, and we worked hard to ensure everybody had a great time in a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of networking opportunities. Once again the companies of the Superyacht Clubhouse have pulled off a unique event in the heart of Amsterdam, and SuperYacht Company look forward to welcoming our guests back in November to our SuperYacht Night Amsterdam event during the METS.”
Amongst the attendees was a mix of industry professionals from a wide range of prestigious brands, who enjoyed networking in a casual and fun atmosphere. The theme of this years event was Beers & Buns, serving ice-cold Dutch beers accompanied by a premium hot dog vendor which went down extremely well with guests. Combined with good music, several traditional Dutch party games and entertainment and a bit of luck when it came to the usually cold and damp weather of Holland, the second Superyacht Festival was certainly a night not to be missed.
