Bilgin Yachts has announced the technical launch of the second 49.95-metre Bilgin 163 series superyacht, four months after the technical launch of the first in the series. She is now on course for her final outfitting with a delivery date planned before the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show.
The interior of the Bilgin 163 features exterior and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design, with interiors by the Hot Lab team, which used precious materials to create a modern, rich and warm interior design. “Bilgin 163 follows the studio’s new philosophy ‘Architecture for Voyagers’ and focuses on cleanliness of architectural volumes, and a renewed sense for a softness of lines. A plastic minimalism, sober, but rich in details” said Enrico Lumini, Partner and Head of Design in Hot Lab. 
The Hot Lab team has used small quantities of wood and natural leather in the interior living areas with a perfect combination of natural colours and materials to highlight the yacht's connection to the sea. In Lumini’s words, “Bilgin 163 is a perfect combination of shapes, soft colours and great richness of detail.”
Bilgin Yachts’ CEO İsmail Şengün commented, “We foresee a further enhancement in the distinctive signature of Bilgin Yachts. Bilgin 163 is one of our most ambitious projects and a perfect sample of what we can offer to our clients.” 
The Bilgin 163 offers a spacious, modern and stylish way of living with a six stateroom configuration for up to 12 guests. The main colour scheme consists of natural colours, which work harmoniously with her large windows and high-gloss materials. She is also able to host a crew of nine across five cabins.
In terms of performance, the Bilgin 163 is equipped with twin 1,450 horsepower Caterpillar engines, providing her with an expected top speed of around 17 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
Bilgin Yachts currently has eight yachts under-construction including; two 80-metre yachts, a 74-metre project, two 50-metre series, one 86-metre yacht as well as two sisters of the brand-new 52-metre range.
