A second unit of the ISA GT 45 series has been sold with the Palumbo Superyachts brand signing a new construction contract with a European client, putting the project on a summer 2021-delivery track. The first unit of this new line by ISA Yachts was announced in March.Photo: ISA Yachts
To be built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the project is designed by Team for Design (exterior) and Luca Dini (interior) together with Palumbo’s technical office who developed the naval architecture of the vessel. The interior is described as “contemporary” by the shipyard with “the right balance between precious and natural materials with “high-tech” inserts like carbon, mainly used in the custom-made furniture”.
Commenting on a successful 2019, CEO Guiseppe Palumbo said: "In 2019, we delivered 5 superyachts, including the new flagship Columbus Classic 80-meter Dragon, and we are building eight new boats between 26 and 67 metres: for me, this is synonymous of professionalism, expertise, quality and respect of deadlines. The challenges are still many but the evidence demonstrates what we are capable of designing and building”.
The ISA GT 45 can accommodate up to eight guests in four spacious cabins thanks to the voluminous hull design and guest-friendly layout. In addition, there is space for up to seven permanent crew members on board. Cruising at 12 knots, the ISA GT 45 can cover a transatlantic range of 3,500 nm.Photo: ISA Yachts
