Dutch shipyard Lynx Yachts has sold another version of the YXT 24 superyacht support vessel. This custom 24-metre tender and toy-carrying edition will be ready for delivery to her American owner in the summer of 2018 where after she will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show that same year. Bernd Weel Design are behind the project's exterior styling, with naval architecture of the vessel developed by Diana Yacht Design.
Being built for an avid watersports enthusiast, the second YXT 24 will be put to good use by her active owner to support his adventurous lifestyle. Initially designed with complete mothership-support capabilities in mind, this particular unit of the YXT 24 will be used as a live-aboard vessel, and Frank Darnet Design has therefore been selected to design the interior. The yacht will include a well-appointed double cabin with a pullman berth and its own ensuite bathroom. Additionally, four crew members will also be accommodated in two double cabins.
Ideal for watersports days at anchor, with the YXT 24’s transom door open, guests have nearly 75 square metres at their disposable at the dual-level beach deck. The main storage deck is designed to carry the owner’s Land Rover Defender to make exploring islands possible.
"It has been a pleasure to work with this client," says Filippo Rossi, sales and marketing manager at Lynx Yachts."His passion for yachting and for the sea is infectious. We are really proud of this project; it shows the true flexibility of the YXT platform and the levels of customisation we can achieve.”
