Second Mangusta Oceano 50 yacht launched

The second Mangusta Oceano 50 yacht launched from the Overmarine Group’s shipyard in Pisa, Italy. The 49.9-metre yacht marks the 12th yacht launched from the Overmarine metal division, and has been christened Project Verona.Project Verona yacht launch at Overmarine PisaProject Verona is a 499 GT steel and aluminium displacement yacht designed and developed jointly by the shipyard's technical departments, designer Alberto Mancini, and P.L.A.N.A. “We are very proud of the results this division has achieved in the few years since joining the Viareggio one, which builds vessels in composite material", said the Overmarine Group's CEO Maurizio Balducci.

The interior of the Mangusta Oceano 50 yacht has been designed by Alberto Mancini, who teamed up with the shipyard's technical and interiors departments to develop solutions that would fully embody the requests of the Florida-based owner.Mangusta Oceano 50 The Mangusta Oceano 50 yacht offers generous interior and exterior spaces with large floor-to-ceiling windows to create a seamless continuity between the two spaces. The owner chose a six-stateroom configuration with the master stateroom located on the main deck. This room also benefits from a balcony overlooking the sea, while a full-beam VIP stateroom and four guest staterooms are located on the lower deck.

The Mangusta Oceano 50 yacht Project Verona’s beach area is connected over three terraces at water level to create the closest contact to the sea. A large infinity pool can be found forward on the main deck, while a second one is located on the spacious sun deck.Mangusta Oceano 50 exterior design The yacht Project Verona is equipped with twin MTU 1,700 horsepower engines that help her achieve a top speed of 16 knots. With a range of 4,500 nautical miles she can cruise at a speed of 11 knots. 

More units in the Mangusta Oceano 50 series are currently under construction at the Pisa shipyard. The next vessel available for sale will be hull number 6, with delivery expected in summer 2026.
