Finnish builder Nautor’s Swan has announced the sale of its second unit from its semi-custom performance superyacht, the Swan 98.
The second sale comes not long after Nautor's Swan revealed it had begun construction on its first Swan 98 hull, which is set for a June 2020 delivery.Photo: Nautor's Swan The 30-metre yacht, created by longtime Swan designer Germán Frers, was unveiled this spring and includes a number of customisation options which will ensure that no two Swan 98’s will be the same. For example, owners can select a telescopic keel to reduce the draught to 3.2 metres to ensure shallow areas, two different sail plans with two bowsprit versions and a potential second companionway aft. Potential owners can also choose between two different layout configurations, one with the owner’s cabin forward, the other with the owner’s cabin aft and each with a range of customisation options. Italian architect Misa Poggi, who developed the potential layouts, also created three interior themes, all of which feature Italian textiles and leathers, while an additional fourth interior theme was created by the in-house design theme at Nautor’s Swan.
