With the Miami International Boat show opening its doors this week, we explore two of the most exciting superyachts on display at this year's event, the 43.4-metre Triple 8 and the 45.9-metre 10, both of which are offered for sale with Burgess.
Built by the esteemed Danish shipyard Royal Denship in 2009, the 43.4-metre Triple 8 combines contemporary, modern design with elegant and chic styling from the drawing boards of Michela Reverberi and Diana Yacht Design.
On board, she accommodates up to 11 guests across five luxurious staterooms, including a spacious on-deck master suite. A crew of nine is also accommodated for on board.
As evident from the images, Triple 8's interior features a neutral palette of bleached walnut, cream leathers and rich Italian furnishings creating a luxurious, yet light and open atmosphere.
The exterior is equally impressive, with vast amounts of deck space epitomising the yacht's spacious feel and wide variety of options for entertaining and relaxing. The sundeck alone encompasses 16 metres of open-plan living area giving the impression that this outstanding yacht is much more than her 43.4 metres.
With an impressive range of 7,800 nm, Triple 8 is a proven global explorer that is ready to take her new owners to the edges of the earth in luxurious comfort and safety.
Her standout features on board include a 16-metre sundeck featuring a jacuzzi and BBQ, a fully-equipped gym and a home cinema with a 63-inch screen: with all of this, and more, Triple 8 is the perfect place to enjoy the superyacht lifestyle in comfort and luxury.
Powered by twin 1,000hp Caterpillar engines, Triple 8 has a maximum speed of 12.5 knots and a cruising speed of 8.5 knots.
For interested parties, Triple 8 will be available for viewings at Island Gardens during the Miami Yacht Show. She is currently listed at an asking price of $12,950,000 or €10,400,000 following a recent price reduction and is available for sale to US residents under a US boat show bond.
The 45.9-metre motor yacht 10 (ex: Monarch, Just J's) was built at the Seattle-based yard Delta Marine to ABS Class and delivered in 2011, undergoing an extensive refit in 2016. She features both exterior and interior design by the award-winning studio Jonathan Quinn Barnett and completed her five year ABS survey in autumn 2016.
As visible in the images, her interior boasts immense natural light due to her oversized windows. On board, she offers luxurious accommodation for ten guests in an elegant interior consisting of five staterooms, comprising a large full beam master suite on the main deck, three double staterooms and one twin stateroom below, all of which include full ensuite facilities.
Her impressive outdoor deck spaces provide a well-balanced mix of expansive settings and secluded corners suitable for relaxation, dining and entertaining. Outside, you can lounge on her fantastic sundeck, which is complete with sun loungers, bar and an oversized jacuzzi.
For relaxing al-fresco dining, the 45.9-metre motor yacht also features a large sky lounge and multiple deck areas which are ideal for enjoying delicious food and the best company, with a seven-person jacuzzi on the sun deck forward.
Thanks to her inclusive design credentials, 10 is also wheelchair accessible throughout, offering extra wide doors, spacious walkways and an elevator that services all four decks from the lower guest staterooms through to the sun deck.
Under her current ownership, the 49.5-metre motor yacht benefited from a comprehensive refit in 2016 which included new interior soft goods, new exterior upholstery and cushions, AV upgrades including new domes, new service appliances, a major service to main engines and generators, exhaust system and teak decking.
Offered to the market in immaculate condition, 10 presents beautifully and is ready for turn-key, immediate cruising. As a major added bonus for her future owners, she is MCA compliant and would be the ideal charter vessel.
Powered by twin 2,525 Caterpillar engines,10 has a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots, with a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. She is currently on the market at an asking price of $21,000,000 (EUR 16,865,000), tax paid.
