Namaste, the 40-metre motoryacht from German shipyard Tamsen, will be available to view at Monaco Yacht Show this year. Built in 2008 and recently upgraded in May this year, Namaste features in-house designs from Tamsen in collaboration with Italian interior design company Loro Piana. Her interiors are spacious and contemporary, with an Asian theme throughout to match her name.

Namaste is one of only two yachts built to this distinctive design: most noticeably, Namaste’s attractive cappuccino coloured hull makes her stand out from the crowd and fits in with the earthy tones of her interior.

With a design crafted to bring the outside world into the yacht, Namaste features wide, open bulwarks and large skylights for generous sea views.

The 40-metre motoryacht’s shallow draft enables her to widen her cruising footprint, making her ideal for shallow waters such as the Bahamas. In addition, her generous headroom on the main and lower decks give her the feeling of a much larger vessel. Unusual for a yacht of her size, she also features a garage for convenient tender storage.

On board, she accommodates 10 guests across five spacious staterooms, including an on-deck master suite with a king bed, walk-in closets, wet bar, and office. The guest staterooms are all en-suite, and seven crew members are also accommodated onboard.

Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M93 CR engines, she has a top speed of 19 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
