Northrop and Johnson Luxury Collection is pleased to announce the addition of Shawn Laird to the Fort Lauderdale office. Prior to joining Northrop and Johnson, Shawn honed her skills in the yachting industry working for Fraser Yachts, Koch, Newton & Partners and Bob Saxon Associates.
Shawn began her career in yachting shortly after graduating from the University of South Carolina, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, when she moved to the Caribbean. For the next five years, she crewed on charter and private superyachts throughout the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Pacific Northwest, and the Bahamas. She also lived in Australia, New Zealand, and aboard the 150’ expedition vessel Turmoil while cruising from San Diego to Fort Lauderdale.
With industry experience on land and at sea, Shawn brings her experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to the Northrop and Johnson Charter Marketing Division in Fort Lauderdale.
