ICON Yachts have announced that they have been commissioned to refit the 1945 gross tonnage Sherakhan. The refit is being managed by Verkerk Yachting Projects, the owners of the yacht.
Sherakhan will be repainted and will take on board new generators. During her brief visit to the yard, ICON will perform a thorough systems service and maintenance campaign.
The 69.65 metre (228’5) Sherakhan was built in 1966, but was fully rebuilt in 2004 to become a head-turning superyacht. The yacht, which has an excellent charter reputation, boasts a contemporary interior with outstanding features including a huge open main saloon with dining area for 26.
After her refit, Sherakhan will depart for the Caribbean.
