Tri-deck version of Silent 80 catamaran announced

Silent Yachts has announced the addition of three new models to its range of solar electric catamarans at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival. These additions include the tri-deck version of the Austrian shipyard’s flagship Silent 80 model.Silent 80 tri-deck yacht conceptPhoto: Silent YachtsThe three-deck Silent 80 offers a comfortable, spacious panoramic saloon on top. We are going to be revealing more details about [the tri-deck] in coming months,” says Michael Köhler, founder and CEO of Silent Yachts.

The tri-deck version of the Silent 80 boasts a panoramic air-conditioned saloon on the flybridge that helps to increase the amount of time for which the vessel can be used. Thanks to the extra space, there is more opportunity for social areas on board as well as new layout possibilities.

The Silent 80 tri-deck can come either with a skylounge on the top deck or a 90-square-metre flydeck with a vast private owner’s suite.

The tri-deck vessel will be able to reach speeds of up to 18 knots and cover 100 nautical miles in a day at cruising speed, all without burning any fuel.
