The SpaceCat series was announced at the Singapore Yacht Show in 2019, with the first yacht delivered in October of this year. The series is the shipyard’s first multihull, utilising the catamaran platform that has been growing in popularity over recent years with the offerings of wide interior volumes and increased stability.

The hull design is based on the same lightweight low-resistance technology found on the Silver Series yachts. At 35.9m in length, 13.3m beam and 480 GT, the yacht can achieve large areas comprising approximately 490m² combined outdoor spaces and 374m² internal spaces.Space Cat yacht anchored
Espen Øino International has created a unique exterior styling that mimics the Silver Series’ characteristically minimalistic, sleek and slender aesthetics. Spread over three decks including a spacious versatile sun deck, Øino has maximised the impact of glazing across the lower two decks that highlights the eye-catching bulwark design linking the two decks at bow and stern. The interior design takes full advantage of that impressive volume with clean lines framing the large windows and allowing for uninterrupted views throughout the main deck. The clever use of timber tones gives a much-needed warmth whilst maintaining the open-plan style of living.

The yacht’s sun deck is without a doubt one of the top features of the SpaceCat. With 360° views of the ocean, the sun deck is the ideal place to enjoy the company of family and friends with its bar, an array of seating options and, with the removal of the tender and Jet Skis, its spacious aft deck. Guests aboard the yacht can use that broad sun deck to watch the sunset or enjoy a sunrise yoga session in perfect privacy.Space Cat yacht pool in Honk KongWhile the main deck is home to an alfresco-style living, the aft of the upper deck is perfectly suited to a more intimate dining and lounging experience. To the fore of this brightly lit deck are guest suites and the wheelhouse.

The main deck features a relaxed lounge and dining that opens to an expansive aft deck that can feature any custom configuration. Grab a drink and relax by the pool on the sun pads or cool off in the partly shaded pool. The owner’s stateroom is also located on the main deck at the front of the yacht, with excellent sea views and a private terrace to the fore.  This deck is also home to both the galley and an additional guest suite. To the very aft of the superyacht is a submersible swim platform that can also double as a Jet Ski and tender lift, making manoeuvring particularly simple for the crew.

Since its launch in 2019, the SpaceCat series has been met with a very positive market response which has driven SilverYachts to now unveil a 22 and 24-metre series. Space Cat yacht anchoredBuilt in Australia

While the first two hulls of the SpaceCat series have been constructed at SilverYachts partnership yard in China, Hull 803 is currently under construction in Australia. The overall footprint that forms the boundary for the open-air style interiors will predominantly remain the same to ensure consistency and quality control between the vessels, reducing build times and material costs.

Currently available for purchase, the client has the option to choose from a set of predefined furniture layouts and finishes specifically chosen by the SilverYachts interior team that complement and energise the interior spaces. In addition, the arrangement of SpaceCat allows the client to easily adjust the layout to their personal tastes and needs whether for private or commercial use.

The same level of detail and craftsmanship that brought you Silver Fast and Bold will be put into creating this new and exciting series.Space Cat yacht anchoredCurrent build status
