SilverYachts launched its first-ever catamaran earlier this year, and the Australian luxury yacht builder has now shared photographs of the interior of the 35.5-metre SpaceCat. While the interior is yet to be furnished, the newly released images offer a flavour of how SilverYacht’s first foray into multihulls will look and feel. 
Photo: Denison Yachting – FL Yacht ProThe SpaceCat series was conceived in collaboration with the Monaco-based studio Espen Øino International, which oversaw her exterior styling and naval architecture. The catamaran is capacious, spanning three decks and boasting an interior volume of 478 GT spread across a 13.3-metre beam.

The first photographs reveal a very generous saloon that’s been equipped with not one but two screening areas. A neutral palette has been used to outfit the space, with varnished laminate flooring, white fixtures and dark wood shelving units. The SpaceCat is both modern and versatile.

Photo: SilverCat, Denison, and FLYachtProThe SpaceCat catamaran can accommodate as many as 10 guests across five staterooms, and the neutral palette found within the saloon seamlessly continues into the staterooms. SilverYachts made use of a range of grey hues and tones for both the soft furnishings and wall coverings. The SpaceCat also has accommodation for eight crew.

In terms of performance, SilverYachts equipped the aluminium catamaran with four Volvo Penta engines that deliver a cruising speed of 16 knots and a top speed of 21 knots.

SilverYachts has been a hive of activity as it also launched Globalfast the second unit from its SilverLoft series last month. The shipyard is currently underway with the second unit from its catamaran series.
