Riva Yachts have announced the launch of their sixth Riva 88 Folgore from their yard in La Spezia, Italy. The 26.91-metre motor yacht Riva 88 Folgore features naval architecture from her builder, Riva, and exterior and interior design from the drawing boards of Officina Italiana Design. Ventura Yachts managed the sale of this vessel and oversaw her construction as representatives of the owner.
The 88 Folgore can sleep up-to eight guests across her three double and one twin staterooms. She includes a full-beam master suite with various configuration options, with a choice of either his-and-hers bathrooms, or one large bathroom spanning the full beam of the yacht.
She includes a large flybridge with lounge seating and a dining area and large wrap around windows to allow for plenty of natural light. Her deck space includes an al fresco dining area aft, extensive seating on her flybridge and a U-shaped seating area and sunbathing loungers to her fore.
Her redesigned stern concept allows guests to open a rear door to sit by the waterline and create a six square-metre beach club, which can be submerged to help launch and recover her tender.
Performance-wise, the 88 Folgore can be supplied with two engine options, either twin MTU 16V 2000 M96 engines giving her top speeds of 36 knots, or twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines to give her a top speed of 38 knots.
