The sixth unit of the Sanlorenzo 52Steel superyacht has been launched from Sanlorenzo’s La Spezia, Italy-based shipyard. The latest unit is constructed from steel and aluminium, includes five decks and is sub-500 GT.With naval architecture from her builder, Sanlorenzo, the 52Steel features interior styling by Tiziana Vercellesi. The superyacht is designed to deliver large indoor and outdoor spaces, lending her the feeling that she is larger than her actual size, alongside innovative technical elements.The 52Steel has an elegant and contemporary interior with large glass surfaces used throughout to enhance the natural light from her vast windows and to reinforce the indoor-outdoor aesthetic. As requested by the owner, Tiziana Vercellesi has used different materials including fine woods, leathers and marble.One of the unique features of this 52Steel is her stern area. It features a large swimming pool on her main deck with a transparent bottom to shine light into her tender garage which converts into an expandable beach club thanks to her folding terraces. The 52Steel superyacht will sleep up-to 12 guests across five staterooms, and will be operated by a crew of nine.Performance-wise, the 52Steel will be powered by twin Caterpillar 3512C diesel engines, giving her a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots, and a 4,400 nautical mile range.
