Holland Jachtbouw has announced that three of its finest yachts will be taking part in the two prestigious regattas remaining on the European sailing calendar. The 125’ schooner Skylge will appear at the St. Tropez 'Les Voiles' from 30 September to 8 October. And the Super Yacht Cup in Palma, which runs from 11 to 14 October, will feature both the award-winning 152’ schooner Windrose and the lovely 121’ sloop YII.
These three yachts show the diversity of designs built by Holland Jachtbouw while at the same time sharing an exceptionally high quality standard. Skylge is a high-performance built to an Andre Hoek design with a carbon mast and sophisticated rigging. Launched in March this year, Y11’s aluminium hull and low weight of 152 tons will ensure that her performance is as impressive as her Bill Dixon looks. And the Dijkstra-designed Windrose has already proved her mettle, twice setting new records for a Transatlantic two-masted schooner crossing.
