Shortly after the official launch of SO! DALIAN, the first in a series of new events under the SO! RENDEZVOUS umbrella offered by China Rendez-Vous, founder Delphine Lignieres and her team are proud to announce that they have teamed up with The Polo Life LLC to organize the first ever Beach Polo World Cup in China. The World Cup will bring a unique touch of refinement and glamour to China’s most anticipated yacht show. SO! DALIAN is attracting a huge level of interest and many major industry players have already confirmed their presence and reserved key exhibition spaces.
From July 3rd to July 6th, 2014, SO! DALIAN will bring another level of sophistication to the shores of Dalian, in the prosperous province of Liaoning. Over the years, Dalian has become known as one of China’s most dynamic coastal cities, not only attracting elites from the region, but also Beijing, Inner Mongolia and eastern Russia.
Teaming up with world-renowned experts from The Polo Life, the originators of the highly successful Miami Beach Polo tournament, China Rendez-Vous is bringing this world-class event to the shores of Dalian, adding an atmosphere of competition and sporting lifestyle to the show. The World Cup will allow brands and guests to mingle and enjoy the refinement and legacy of the “Sport of Kings” played on sand. “I am very excited to bring our experience and passion about polo to China. We are already selecting the best players from the circuit so the first tournament at SO! DALIAN should for sure be one not to be missed,“ explains Bruce Orosz, President of The Polo Life.
Also on the books is the annual Golf Tournament in partnership with USC-888 and the St Andrews Golf Festival and supported by TaylorMade. “Today more than ever, brands need to reconnect with their clients and this process demands for a more personal and emotional approach than before.
