This morning the Feadship yard in Aalsmeer launched the 55.20-metre Somnium. The exterior lines as well as the naval architecture of Somnium are by De Voogt Naval Architects, while her interior is from the drawing board of FM Architettura. The completed aluminium hull and superstructure of build number 704 arrived at the outfitting yard in February 2020 and she is expected to start her sea trials soon ahead of her delivery later this year. Somnium has a volume of 740 gross tonnage and is powered by twin 1,224 HP MTU diesel engines. She is the second superyacht launched by Feadship this year, as in February they launched the 94-metre yacht Viva.
