Photo: Southern WindSouthern Wind’s latest delivery recently completed her maiden voyage from Cape Town to the Mediterranean when she arrived in Spain earlier this month to meet with her smaller sister built for the same owner by the South African shipyard. Kibiko Tres (left) is a carbon-fibre sloop measuring 32.2 metres in length and forms part of Southern Wind’s SW105 miniseries; the second of her kind. Kiboko Dos was built in 2008 as the first hull in Southern Wind’s successful SW94 line. Nauta Yachts designed the interiors of both project while Far Yachts and Reichel/ Pugh Yacht Design worked on the naval architecture of each vessel respectively. Here they are seen side by side for the first time in the port of Palamos.
