In true boat show fashion, Oceanco decided on the opening day of the FLIBS 2016 to unveil its new superyacht concept named Spectrum. The Dutch shipyard collaborated with Nauta Design on the 102-metre concept project.

Her name is indicative of the range of possibilities on offer in terms of propulsion methods and guest space layouts. Designer Mario Pedol explained that Spectrum is designed with a connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces at its heart, and presents guests with generous living spaces that can be appreciated with an added element of natural light via the large windows and exterior balconies.

The upper deck is reserved for the owner’s use with a private forward-facing panoramic suite and direct access to a private spa pool area. The touch and go helipad on the foredeck makes coming and going a breeze.

Produced by UK-based Insensys, the system is based on three rotating carbon fibre masts capable of deploying up to 2,396 square-metres of sail.
