Stephen Huish Design has recently announced their most recent collaboration with a shipyard, a 40 metre superyacht with Sarp Yachts in Turkey.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150734/image/large-d421f34493d2c262bce5b4f8c396de94.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150734">The classic yacht design differs from the studios’ usual modern interior designs, and instead, shows a ‘colonial style’ inspired interior which will be extremely customisable. The main focus is on natural light to give the interior a light, relaxed feel throughout.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/150735/image/large-b78ab35a6645a526f20d4f108370e7d6.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150735">Some of the notable features of the design include the saloon with a distressed dark wood floor, as well as the painted bulkheads and specially designated areas for the owner’s collection of artwork. The master suite is spacious, with a large built in wardrobe with plantation style doors, a good working desk with storage, book shelves and seating. The first is a semi-open space of 320 square-meters on the main deck, with opening terraces, extendable to 400 square-meters, and with a gym and beach club aft. At the mark by the Tre Monti shallows, the superyachts headed for the islet of Monaci, which they rounded before embarking on their upwind return leg to Porto Cervo. The interior has been coined by her builder's own design team alongside Italian designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/3025" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Alberto Mancini Yacht Design (Company)">Alberto Mancini</a>. Onboard, she can accommodate up to 12 guests taken care of by a crew of seven. Performance-wise, the 451 GT superyacht can reach a top speed of 15 knots and cruise comfortably at 11 knots with a range of 5,000 nautical miles.
