Moreover, the crew are housed across four double cabins situated below deck, while the captain has a cabin beside the wheelhouse.&nbsp;As for her exterior areas, the aft cockpit on the main deck boasts an eight-seater table, along with an expansive relaxation area, fitted with a C-shaped sofa and sunbathing area. By walking down the side stairways, guests arrive at the beach area that can double in size once the stern hatch lowers flush to the central section, thereby joining the indoor part of the beach club. Since its establishment in 2015, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7366" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Superyacht Charities (Company)">Superyacht Charities</a> has significantly donated to maritime causes, raising over €1,047,200 (£880,000). The third annual <a href="http://superyachtcharities.com/golf-challenge/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">Superyacht Charities Golf Event</a>, approaching on 10 October 2024 in Palma de Mallorca. With it, the foundation is set to hit another milestone in its mission to blend philanthropy with industry gatherings. By April, the event had grown to 350 attendees, prompting Munro to formalise the charity and leverage the yacht industry's collective influence. The foundation's flagship event, the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7366" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Superyacht Charities (Company)">Superyacht Charities</a> Ball, now attracts over 500 attendees annually.&nbsp;“We now run four annual events, which is quite incredible considering where we started and that all of our trustees who organise the events are volunteers and have their own businesses. The Superyacht Ball is the first event of the year, followed by the Seafarers Supper in Palma, then the Golf Event and finally the Antigua Sundowners on the first day of the Antigua Charter Show,” shares Munro. “Part of the reason for the number of events is that we have a lot of return attendees who consistently support one or two events in the calendar year, but we also want to appeal to a broader audience,” he adds.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/289065/image/large-1a94aa05c477fb1d9ef7c8696428ee05.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/289065"><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7366" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Superyacht Charities (Company)">Superyacht Charities</a>’ annual events are managed by volunteer trustees, who run their own businesses while supporting the foundation. Each event benefits two primary charities, receiving 33 percent of the donations each, with an additional 33 percent allocated to the foundation's Cash for Causes Fund. This year, €23,800 (£20,000) from this fund, along with contributions from a GoFundMe campaign, will aid relief efforts in Carriacou (Grenada) and Petite Martinique, areas devastated by Hurricane Beryl. The foundation’s efforts have already included providing a communication tower and contributing to infrastructure reconstruction.The foundation ensures that at least 90 percent of donations directly support charitable work. Beneficiaries are typically small, independent organisations focusing on maritime causes. Initial support went to Sail for Cancer, now a larger entity, while current beneficiaries include JOYRON, aiding children in the Baleares, and Oarsome Chance, supporting young people with special educational needs. The <a href="http://superyachtcharities.com/golf-challenge/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">2024 Superyacht Charities Golf Event (SYCGE)&nbsp;</a>will take place on Thursday, 10th October 2024 at Golf Son Quint, in Palma de Mallorca.“We have 140 players out on the green over the course of the day, playing in pairs with the first group setting off at 8AM. The second group will begin after lunch, which is a Spanish style tapas meal served at the golf course,” shares Munro.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/295206/image/large-197ba6f0bd501727bfcd9fc07e9406a9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/295206">“Throughout the day there will be a bar open at the club, with two additional bars on the green itself, as well as a coffee buggy driving around serving coffees and espresso martinis,” he adds. In the evening there will be a Spanish style barbecue, with DJ music and drinks at the club. "We have created a very simple profile," explained designer Peder Eidsgaard of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/168" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Harrison Eidsgaard (Company)">Harrison Eidgaard</a>. "We have given her smooth lines that run from her bow and across all three of her tiered decks."Monte Carlo&nbsp;has been specifically designed to appeal to a new generation of owners who are spending more time onboard. The remaining guest accommodation will be split across the main and lower decks, with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/168" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Harrison Eidsgaard (Company)">Eidsgaard</a>’s design proposing a mix of up to five spacious VIP staterooms and comfortable double staterooms for the accommodation of up to 14 guests."We moved the guest staterooms up to the main deck, which allowed us to move &nbsp;the master suite up above to provide the owner with a great view forward and a penthouse feel. The suite includes a forward-facing bed, his-and-hers wardrobes, an owner's office and a Jacuzzi on her foredeck," commented Peder Eidsgaard.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/329281/image/large-0f898ed0f3a0233f0706b11f54b17861.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/329281">The superyacht will be one of the largest yacht's by volume ever built in Oss. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/54" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heesen Yachts (Company)">Heesen</a>’s CEO, Niels Vaessen, explained that the design is a direct response to trends they are currently seeing in the market. “It is unusual for us to build a four-decker, but we have had a few requests for such a boat from former clients, so it made sense to create one. We are addressing a key market of owners that are looking to maximise space and experience on board to share with family and friends.”Peder Eidsgaard highlighted that the owner’s deck offers supreme privacy and could be utilised in different ways depending on their reference. “It is a very open master suite, with the bathtub, shower and office all interconnected,” he said.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/329280/image/large-d733ce7e3d20a41971a74d33ee1225c9.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/329280">“The benefit of this arrangement is that an incoming owner can easily toy with the space devoted to each area. From his/her office, the owner can walk straight out onto the balcony and take a seat.”Monte Carlo's design&nbsp;includes a large 23-square-metre pool, with glass sides giving the impression that you are swimming in the sea and fold-down wings on the aft deck that allow you to sit right over the water. There is also a firepit observation lounge under the mast, an outdoor kitchen, and a semi-open sky lounge seating area, including a hidden pop-up TV for movie nights."Her multi-level roof top terrace offers guests a great view of the horizon, with her seating area and firepit providing the perfect spot for relaxation. Her awning hoop also allows guests to enjoy the stars at night and can be closed in the day time for protection from the sun," added Peder Eidsgaard.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/329283/image/large-b5678775dbec9d28a808c083b261d22c.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/329283">The yacht’s beach club is also ideal for launching water toys, and its impressive storage will ensure that Project Monte-Carlo can be equipped with the latest toys available, including e-foils, wave runners and a diving kit. It also has a methanol-ready tank layout for future conversion to hydrogen combustion or even a fuel cell.
