Sunreef Yachts announced the signature of a build contract for its first Sunreef 43M Eco catamaran at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022 with Ocean Independence broker Tim Quinlan representing the buyer. The eco sailing superyacht is fully customisable and according to the shipyard it is ‘the world’s biggest electric leisure catamaran.’
The Sunreef 43M Eco sailing catamaran has been designed for all-year exploration and incorporated solar panels in her hull, her mast and boom that generates “green energy for unlimited, emission-free cruising”.
The fully customisable Sunreef 43M Eco yacht can be tailored to her new owners’ tastes and host a plethora of amenities. Some features that her new owner can opt for include a massage area with ocean views, a fully functional bar or a fitness area.
One of her standout features is her ‘invisible’ aft garage that can stow two large tenders, a collection of water toys and an inflatable catamaran. Another key characteristic of the Sunreef 43M Eco yacht is her voluminous Ocean Lounge that blends the beach club with the aft deck that features fold-down balconies for additional space.
The Sunreef 43M Eco catamaran boasts an impressive flybridge with plenty of space for alfresco dining. For less formal occasions, guests can enjoy her numerous sunpads and her outdoor screening area.
The Sunreef 43M Eco yacht is equipped with composite-integrated solar panels, a hydro-generation propulsion system, electric engines and performance sails. She is also constructed from ethically sourced and sustainable materials, accentuating her eco offering.
