Turkish shipyard Sunrise Yachts has launched the first of the Sunrise 63 series. After a total construction time of 30 months, Irimari was launched on the 30th April from the shipyard’s facilities in Antalya by two 700 cranes from the ship HHL Valparaiso.
Irimari was designed by the renowned Espen Oeino, with interior by Focus Yacht Design and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design. She features a high tensile steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and boasts a transatlantic range of 5,000 miles. She has a top speed of 17 knots.
Although most of the dock and system trials have already been performed in its construction shed, the vessel will spend two months at the dock for final fit-out, commissioning and sea trials before being handed to her owners for the summer season.
She will be presented at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
