After the launch of Africa (now named Dynasty) five years ago, Sunrise Yachts launched their second superyacht last week. Project Sunset (hull number 182) will be delivered to her Northern American owner next month. Studio Scanu designed the 44.85 metre superyacht and she features an interior by Franck Darnet Design, who also designed the interior of Africa.
In sharp contrast with the first Sunrise 45m’s dark tropical woods, Project Sunset’s contemporary décor features light veneers and a bright colour scheme.
The Sunrise 45 metre is a three-deck, full displacement, transatlantic and steel hulled superyacht, built to operate for private use or charter. A full-length technical tunnel running from the engine room to the bow-thruster compartment provides easy access to tanks and systems at bilge deck level.
Guillaume Roché, the Sunrise Yachts CEO, stated: “Just like motor yacht Africa was one of the “star” yachts when introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show, we are confident that the new 45m will be one of the most notable yachts delivered worldwide this year in its category. We believe that the yacht further demonstrates our commitment to excellence and to continually improving our standards while remaining a competitive alternative to quality European builders.”
Project Sunset will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
