Staff at Sunseeker International will share a £1.8 million bonus scheme for helping the Dorset-based company achieve record sales of £240 million and an operating profit of £12.5 million. As staff levels at the privately-run company continue to rise, the payment is an additional bonus to the team at Sunseeker based on length of service.
According to the company’s founder and managing director Robert Braithwaite, CBE, Sunseeker staff are highly valued and their benefit to the company’s extraordinary growth is being recognised. ‘The company has done extremely well and the team of employees who helped make it happen are all going to share in that too. Whether it be an administrator in the offices, head designer at the Technology Centre, a carpenter in one of the manufacturing teams or a shipyard manager, all staff benefit from the same scheme, and the longer they are with the company the larger a share they receive’, he said.
