Milanese design studio Federico Fiorentino and Italian high-speed RIB (rigid inflatable boat) builder, SACS with its Bespoke Operation Division (SBO) has teamed up on a new concept project named X-80. The 24-metre-long cruiser is the latest result of the duo’s collaborative efforts following several smaller RIBS created by the pair in the past.
The X-80 is designed to operate as a luxury chase boat for larger superyachts and is designed with foam pontoons surrounding the vessel to reduce the effects of impacts on the RIB itself and the mothership. 
Designed for outdoor living as a stand-alone day boat or mothership escape craft to explore shallower waters, the X-80 features 60-square-metres worth of deck space with built-in sunbed and large swim platform for watersports activities. Inside, there is space for five persons in a full-beam master suite, a twin guest cabin and a crew cabin in the forepeak. 
Irrespective of the selected propulsion system, the X-80 will benefit from the handling and seagoing characteristics all SACS craft are known for.
