Photo: Michiel2005Spotted last September docked in Venice, Italy, is the 81-metre Royal Huisman super sailing yacht Sea Eagle II. Delivered to her owner in the summer of 2020, she is one of the largest sailing yachts in the world, and stands out with her imposing Rondal Panamax rig and elegant design by Dykstra Naval Architects. The three-masted schooner has an impressive 3,500 square metres of sail and is one of the world’s largest aluminium sailing yachts, at 1,104 GT.
Onboard, Sea Eagle II features interior design by Hampshire-based design studio Mark Whiteley and up to 12 guests can be accommodated across six staterooms, including a VIP suite for the owner. Built for unrestricted worldwide cruising, Sea Eagle II is capable of reaching speeds in excess of 21 knots.
