Superyacht Amadeus in Portofino

Amadeus , seen here in Portofino last week, was built in 1969 by Neue Jadewerft. Initially, Amadeus served as a research vessel but in 2006 she was converted into a private yacht by Jade Yachts in Taiwan. Her exterior redesign was done by Reymond Langdon Design and Francois Zuretti styled her luxurious interior. Powered by twin 1850 hp Caterpillar engines , Amadeus can cruise up to 12 knots and she accommodates 12 guests and a crew of 19. Tugged just behind Amadeus in this photo is the Feadship Paraffin, which was sold last month to her current owners.
