Andy Waugh Yacht Design has unveiled the renderings for a new futuristic 80m superyacht concept, Decadence, based on 1920s motor racing.

Seen yesterday cruising through central Amsterdam was the 57.3-metre yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/918" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Amara57.3m (187'12&quot;)Feadship1986">Amara</a>, who was on her way to the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/29" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Feadship (Company)">Feadship</a> yard in Makkum to begin an extensive refit project. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/186539/image/large-794475fac706f09a1cd412e4a2ffba81.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/186539"><img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/186482/image/large-91fbafde2b1e909908d53673351e8e2e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/186482">First launched by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/29" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Feadship (Company)">Feadship</a> as Cacique in 1986, she was originally designed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/30" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="De Voogt Naval Architects (Company)">Frits de Voogt</a> with an interior by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Terence Disdale Design (Company)">Terence Disdale</a>. In addition, the teak on her sun deck will be replaced and her foredeck fully re-laid in teak to match.
