Photo: Andy AmorCurrently docked in the port city of Portsmouth on England’s south coast is the 74-metre Amels superyacht Avanti. Built under the Amels Limited Edition 242 model and delivered last month, she was known under the project name Shadow. The 1,790 GT superyacht features exterior design from Tim Heywood Design, while Winch Design has penned her interior. Avanti has a unique ice blue coloured hull, white superstructure and orange boot stripe that runs along the waterline. Onboard, other key features include the large mast on her bow and her owner’s deck with a Jacuzzi forward. The four-deck superyacht can accommodate as many as 12 guests between six staterooms and is equipped with a power and propulsion package, which complies with the latest IMO Tier III clean emissions standards. Avanti has a 5,000 nautical mile range while cruising at 12.5 knots and is able to reach a top speed of 16.5 knots.
