Jim Gilbert of Aquos Yachts sends in some stunning photos of the 45 metre superyacht Big Fish in Antarctica. She is about to reach the halfway point in her planned Polar Circumnavigation.
“22,000nm in 7 months! I can't think of a yacht in history that has cruised so far in such a short amount of time on her maiden voyage”, says Jim.
Big Fish, built in New Zealand by McMullen & Wing for Aquos Yachts to a design of Gregory C. Marshall, will soon set sail to the Amazon Basin, then cruise Cuba in May before crossing the Atlantic.
In June and July the luxury expedition yacht will cruise Northern Europe and then embark on the Northeast Passage in August.
Superyacht Big Fish is available for charters during her world travels through 37 South.
