The Leading Yacht Brokers Association (LYBRA) and the European Committee for Professional Yachting (ECPY) have announced that they will host a yacht show called Superyacht Days in Nice from 22nd to 24th June.Marina of Nice Photo: Lazar GugletaThough the exact details of Superyacht Days Nice have not yet been released, the organisers of the event have revealed to SuperYacht Times that the event will forego the traditional format of a yacht show, focusing primarily on yachts for sale and will not have any company stands. The event is poised to display as many as 23 superyachts.

In accordance with concerns of the Covid-19 pandemic, participants must be registered with a LYBRA broker prior to the event. Other industry professionals are welcome, but must be registered with ECPY.

Raphael Saleau, CEO of Fraser and President of LYBRA comments, "This first edition, which comes as the first yachting event on the Riviera since early 2020, will lay the foundation for a yearly event in the superyacht industry calendar. This ‘by invitation only event’ will offer an impressive line up of yachts for sale and charter. This first edition will include a reduced line up of yachts to follow adequate sanitation protocol but we are planning to increase the total number of superyachts from next year onwards. This is an excellent opportunity to see yachts currently for sale and / or charter before the summer season starts."

The announcement of the Nice event follows several other targeted superyacht events, such as the Caribbean Charter Yacht Show.
