Superyacht Dilbar lights up Antibes, France
The world’s largest yacht (in terms of volume) is currently moored at her home berth in the French Rivieran town of Antibes. The 156-metre Dilbar has been making headlines since her launch in November 2015 and Lürssen recently revealed some key figures that sums up the scale of this enormous project. Dilbar covers an immense 15,917 GT as part of her interior volume with dimensions measuring 156 metres in length, 23 metres across and drawing an incredible 6 metres below the waterline. Her diesel electric power plant, the largest ever to be installed on a yacht, enables Dilbar to cruise at 22.5 knots. The combined length of the cabling on board stretches 1,100 kilometres over an impressive 3,800 square metre guest spaces. Dilbar's exterior is designed by Espen Oeino with Winch Design in charge of the yacht’s interior spaces.
